Directions

Despite our rural location, Messing Primary School is easily reached from both the A12 and the B1022 Maldon Road.

By Road:

From the A12 (Ipswich bound) leave at Junction 24 (Kelvedon) and drive through the village of Kelvedon. At the Anchor Pub turn right onto Inworth Road (B1023) signposted to Tiptree. Follow the road under the A12, go past Stonefields farm shop on the left hand side of the road and take the next left, signposted to Messing. Follow the lane until you come to Messing Primary School.

From the A12 (London bound) leave at Junction 24 (Kelvedon). Pass over the A12 and into the village of Feering. At the Anchor Pub turn left onto Inworth Road (B1023) signposted to Tiptree. Follow the directions as above.

From Colchester, take the B1022 heading towards Maldon. As you begin to enter Tiptree you will see a left hand bend with a Thai restaurant on the right hand side called The Maypole. Take a right, alongside The Maypole, and follow the country road for approximately a mile until you reach the school.

From Maldon, take the B1022 heading towards Colchester. As you go through Tiptree, past the Shell garage on your right, you will see The Maypole Thai restaurant ahead of you on a right hand bend. Take a left into the road which runs alongside (not the road infront of) The Maypole restaurant and follow the country road until you reach the school.

By Rail:

Kelvedon Station is approximately a 10 minute drive from Messing Primary School. Kelvedon is on the main London to Norwich line, with regular trains during peak times.
